Unfortunately we may not be able to combine orders placed over the week. This is due to them being cut and packaged within a day of the order being placed even though they are only dispatched twice a week. If you think you are going to be combining orders please let us know as soon as possible and we will try and accommodate this where possible.
08 January 2021:
We have resumed all International Shipping. Unfortunately we cannot advise if there will be additional charges to pay if you are located in Europe, please check your local information on charges after Brexit.
Due to the UK being put into National Lockdown we are now shipping only twice a week in order to reduce the amount of times we travel to the Post Office.
21 December 2020:
A number of countries have suspended incoming flights from the UK so we have taken the decision to suspend International shipping until we know more in the New Year.
17 December 2020:
There are significant delays across all Mail services at the moment. We are posting daily but have had reports of Some 2nd Class Royal Mail items are taking up to 2 weeks to be delivered from the date of shipping. Please be patient if you are waiting for an order.
01 May 2020:
We are now able to dispatch twice weekly whilst still adhering to the social distancing guidelines. It might be different days during the week but will be within 4 working days of your order being placed. We hope that this will help you receive your fabric sooner than the single weekly dispatch.

Royal Mail and Parcelforce have confirmed domestic delays as well as international delays to delivery times.

An update from Royal Mail advises that shipping times to the following countries will be slightly delayed:
USA, Australia, New Zealand, All European Union countries.

We know that things can be stressful at this worrying time. Here at Second Star Fabric we’re trying to do our best to minimise the amount of contact we have and maintain the Government’s recommendation of social distancing. So effective immediately, we’re reducing our posting days to only 1 per week. We understand that this might not be suitable for everyone but we hope that this will still allow you to receive your orders whilst we respect and adhere to the guidelines.
Our dispatch days will now be every Tuesday and our mail will be collected from us either by courier or by Royal Mail. This will help us limit visits to the Post Office and courier drop depots.
We will take stringent hygiene measures when cutting and packaging your orders but they will still be processed through the postal system so if you are in any way concerned about receiving your parcel, we would recommend that you keep your parcel in an isolated place for at least 24 hours.
