When someone visits secondstarfabric.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website
When you purchase fabric from us on our website you provide us with your name, address and contact number. This is for the purpose of shipping your order to you. We store these details and previous orders on our secure server so that we can refer back to them if ever a need arises. You are also welcome to create a website account for the same purpose and have access to your previous orders. We do not have access to your website password. We will not share any of your private information with any other third party, the information is solely for the purpose of processing your order.
We do not store any private payment information such as bank account or card details pertaining to our customers. All payments on our website are processed through Paypal’s secure payment service. On your order details there will be a record of the Paypal payment transaction number as well as your Paypal email. This is for the purpose of issuing refunds only and is not used for any other purpose whatsoever.
We do not and will never share any of your data with third parties.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails. We do not share your name or email or any of the email statistics with any third parties.
